Industrial Insulation Services

Overview
Our technical staff and highly skilled employees are trained to provide insulation and metal jacketing solutions for any turnkey project. With this industrial insulation application, it can help reduce heat loss or gain and prevents or reduces damages to Equipment from Exposure to Fire or Corrosive Atmospheres. It also controls Surface Temperatures for Personnel Protection.
- The best way to prevent water penetration is by overlapping the metal jacket a least 3’’ on the circumferential lap and also on the adjacent metal.
- ½’’ or ¾’’ Stainless Steel banding is highly recommended, Spacing shall be at a minimum of 11-inch centers with a band over each circumferential lap.
- All Insulated piping shall be weatherproofed with Aluminum or Stainless steel jacketing with moisture barrier
- All metal installation shall be installed to shed water.
Insulation Jacketing Tips & Information
Benefits for Pipe Insulation
Facilitates Process Temperature Control
Pipe Insulation will Facilitates Process Temperature Control by reducing heat loss or gain, insulation can help maintain the process temperature to a pre-determined value. Insulation thickness must be sufficient to limit the heat loss in a dynamic system or limit the temperature drop, with time, in a static system.
Prevents or Reduces Damage to Equipment
Not only can reduce heat loss or gain, but it prevents or Reduces Damage to Equipment from Exposure to Fire or Corrosive Atmospheres When used in combination with other materials, fiber glass and rock and slag wool insulation help provide fire protection in fire stop systems.
Controls Surface Temperatures for Personnel Protection and Comfort
It also controls Surface Temperatures for Personnel Protection and Comfort Insulation reduces the surface temperature of piping or equipment to a safer level, resulting in increased worker safety and the avoidance of worker downtime due to injury.
Metal Jacketing System

Aluminum or Stainless steel jacketing is good for mechanical abuse and for exterior covering of insulated pipes. Aluminum jacketing can be installed with either drill screws or banding and seals; Aluminum Jacketing is made out of .016, .020 or .024, this comes with Different finishes (Smooth, Stucco, Cross Crimped) Aluminum Rolls comes in 3 foot sections. The Aluminum Jacketing is cut and rolled to fit each size of pipe insulation correctly.
Field and Factory-applied Non-metal Jacketing can be of the plastic, laminated foil-scrim-Kraft treated paper or fabric types. Factory-applied jacketing provides a longitudinal overlap (often self-adhering) for sealing purposes. Field-applied jacketing must be measured and cut to provide proper overlapping at longitudinal and circumferential joints.
There is also painted sheet & jacketing. Polyester Painted Sheet and Jacketing provide a cost effective protection in exterior in exterior applications. Bare aluminum is first physically and chemically cleaned, primer (conversion) coated, and finally top coated with a propriety composite polyester resin paint which has excellent resistance to U.V. degradation to prevent chalking and fading in severe environments. The special stain resistant resin also improves scratch and metal marking resistance. The coating is durable but flexible enough to be embossed and easily take a 1-T bend when forming.
